May 24: Veggie garden

Well, I will be excited if this veggie garden grows nothing but vegetables, since the squirrels stole my string partitions, that I measured and laid out carefully, and the cats have discovered it as the most wonderful, easy to dig up soil to do their business, and have dug up a whole stack of seedlings. The rooster is clearly not doing a very good job at keeping the predators and lurkers at bay! Anyhoo, there are baby roma tomatoes, yellow tomatoes, beefsteak tomatoes, cherokee tomatoes, pineapple sage, beets, kale, lettuce, nasturtiums, snap peas, chillis, peppers and melons all growing!
