So proud of these girls! The had blinders on and raced harder than they had every raced before, taking second place in their final. More excitement after when the eights rowed to victory, winning their final, making their second place bittersweet and a momentary victory. So proud of all the hours put in to reach this final, all the early mornings, all the rushing to get to class, all the late nights finishing assignments. It has taught grit, determination, perseverance, humility, all important values in life going forward! Amazing to have the grandparents, all the way from South Africa, witnessing this special moment!
