March 17: New runner

I celebrated St. Patrick's Day with the installation of our new runner..of course, the animals had to pose...you can even see Mouse peeping around the corner if you look carefully enough! After taking the other runner off, I thought that I really liked the stairs bare - but...it turns out I didn't. I really love the runner, and it makes the stairs and landing SO quiet...we should have installed carpets everywhere upstairs the minute we arrived...Oh well, you live and learn. But I do know what I will be doing in my next house! As they say 'every day brings new choices'!
