June 7: The bears are back

Plans to protect air and water, wilderness and wildlife are in fact plans to protect man. Stewart Udall

Wildlife is very well protected here, along with bears that occasionally wander across our pathways in urban areas, fully entitled to, of course, since it was their territory to begin with. However, this bear got a little close to school at hometime, so this picture came from the police video of them herding the bear gently back to some open area to avoid school rush hour and a huge panic!
