June 14: For sale...

I feel ashamed of how many houses I've actually crept inside of when they were up for sale. I'm not a snoop, but I love looking and imagining. Teri Garr 

It's official, at last! The house is actually for sale, even with the sign out front! It has taken a long time to get here, but because we don't like change very much, even though change is inevitable, and we have gone through a lot of change. But, things are changing....the children are grown up and testing their wings, so there is no point in hanging here. We will enjoy it for just one more summer, and hopefully sell it to someone who loves it as much as we do. I am hoping with little kiddos who will love the back yard, with all the secret nooks and hideouts, and a jump in the pool when hot, camping under the stars, sleeping in the treehouse, basking in the hammock. I am wondering how many neighbors will be creeping through...just to be snoopy! Hopefully we don't have to do too many open houses...just the thought of them is totally exhausting!
