June 16: A tale of two cities - Windsor and Detroit

This is at least the third birthday that Mike has spent alone, just because of circumstances or work travel...so he is getting used to it, but it doesn't make it any easier, or make birthdays likeable, especially as they approach the big five-zero. So, I suggested an outing to take his mind off the solitude (even though that is what he prefers most of the time, except birthdays), so he explored Belle Isle Park, and was rewarded with dramatic clouds over the city-scape, seeing both Windsor and Detroit on either side of the river! A change of scenery, as well as birthdays provide reflection and perspective...we should enjoy them both more often!
