June 13: Wisdom teeth extraction

The day after graduation and an all night party was the wisdom teeth extraction...better to get it over and done with with some time to recover! Nothing like a downer after the high of graduation! Anyhow, I tried my best not to laugh when she burst into tears in the car, still high from the anesthetic, asking if her wisdom was all gone??? I tried to explain that it was probably still in tact...but did not explain, that at this stage of life upon newly graduating and knowing everything that she possibly had very little to start.....At least one day she will know true wisdom! In the meantime, since she can't eat solid foods, we will accommodate as much as possible from the shopping list...think there is a craving for all things strawberry here. Even managed to organize a strawberry milkshake from McDonalds. Amazing that we always lean back to comfort foods of our childhood.
