June 26: All creatures great and small

So, while wondering around the neighborhood with the dog while the house was on show, I came across this caterpillar on a street sign..terrible photo, but I think that as far as I can make out, it is the caterpillar of the white-marked tussock moth (Orgyia leucostigma). I am always totally amazed by the intricacies of God's perfect, detailed creation. The fact that this complicated, and scary-looking creature is part of an intricate life cycle is totally amazing to me! I am grateful for the small moments that force us to look carefully at what is around us, and appreciate the complexity of this wonderfully made universe.
