July 6: Back to work sulks!

We don't sulk with everybody. We limit our sulks to a very particular person: the person who's supposed to love us and understand us. And we make this equation that if you love me, you're supposed to understand me even if I don't explain what's wrong. Alain de Botton

Dogs behave much the same way as humans, and even sulk with the very person who loves and understands us. The minute I change my morning routine to rushing, cleaning, showering, actually drying and styling my hair and putting on some makeup, Riley retreats sulking to either the couch of the bed, and won't even look at me! At least I am only gone for about five hours!! But I guess that is an eternity to a dog!!!
