February 27: Bird watching through the eyes of a cat
To a man, ornithologists are tall, slender, and bearded so that they can stand motionless for hours, imitating kindly trees, as they watch for birds. Gore Vidal
Well, not necessarily just ornithologists...but bird watchers it seems are tall, slender and furry...standing motionless for hours...imitating the trees as they watch..waiting hopefully to be let outside. Or perhaps it is not bird-watching...but squirrel- or chipmunk-watching....nevertheless, something of interest in an otherwise boring indoor day. Roll on summer with open windows and doors!
