February 16: Detour to work
See any detour as an opportunity to experience new things. H. Jackson Brown, Jr.
On my way to work this morning, I took a little detour...with the increasing temperatures and the frozen ground, there is mist all over, and while driving I decided to follow a whim to see the view through the mist. After pulling off the road, and parking my car...a little walk later revealed this big empty field. This is typical of the season for me....browns and greys. Although I usually find it depressing and can't wait for summer, the bareness was remarkably beautiful. It make for a crisp excursion to gather my thoughts and get a little exercise! It opened my mind to a new experience of enjoying this season, instead of wishing it away for spring.
