My first wish is to see this plague of mankind, war, banished from the earth. George Washington

I cannot believe that for the past two years I have been driving past this house in Morristown, not even realizing that it was the Ford Mansion used as George Washington's headquarters for a time! Understanding that this was in the 1700's, little has changed. The world has advanced, but our wishes of peace and no war remain the same...I wonder if there will ever be no war on earth?
