Back to life, back to the present time, back from a fantasy. Soul II Soul
One day into the new year, and we are back to work and school...no time to be stuck in the fantasy and euphoria of the new year celebrations. Back to life, back to the present time, but still in some disbelief that we are actually in an new year. While out doing my chores for work, I walked past Dicken's Village, comprising themed miniature historic houses in downtown Maplewood, and escaped temporarily to the fantasy of a lost time, a peep into history and holiday fun. This was such a lovely diversion, that I was completely sidetracked, and had to force myself back to work! Each of the little houses is themed differently, and artists have taken the time and passion to create historical scenes in detail for everyone to enjoy. In all the hustle of everyday happenings, it is good to take some time out to appreciate what we see around us.
