April 13: New picnic spot on the path

I am always impressed by the quiet way in which our borough department of public works just goes about their business making our neighborhood nicer all the time, repairing things, taking down broken limbs, clearing roads, building new picnic spots. I wonder how many people who walk by have noticed this cute spot, which will be lovely in the summer? None of these things happen on their own, often go unnoticed, and with little gratitude. So I say thank you to all those hard workers!
