November 13: Birds of prey hanging about

I know that this is not the clearest picture, but I took a quick pic with my phone, then went inside to fetch my camera, but the bird was gone by the time I got back...just too slow. Anyhow,  I didn't see the bird at first, but heard it. It was calling out to a mate who was replying. I was so excited to see it...first it was a hawk in the tree outside our house, and second...if the hawk was there the environment we live in can't be too bad, despite the industry all around. I was very excited to see this!
