October 24: Jack Frost paid a visit

We were greeted by a carpet of frost on our walk this morning...which Riley did not much like, definitely a southern dog!! The frost provided a path of glistening sunbeams that quickly melted away with the touch of the sun, just a quick reminder that summer is well and truly done!! But, it is in good time, because it is energizing and refreshing after the heat and humidity...and much easier to get a walk done quicker! So, it has the added bonus of being a time-saver!
