December 27: Quick trip to Addo

Generally, people don't realize how amazing elephants are...but we do, so a trip to Addo was a total necessity if we were right there after all! And, the ellies did not disappoint. We spend about an hour watching about seven of them in the rain at a water hole, watching the hierarchy, and antics of the little ones. One even chased away a small jackal - they were so animated and protective...murmuring to each other all the time. What a privilege to have been able to spend so much time here over all the years!
